School Support
Pristine Hearing has a number of ways of providing support to your child at their school. This support is provided at no additional cost when incorporating a device prescribed at our clinic.
1. Support with new technology
When you purchase new equipment for your child whether it is a remote microphone system, soundfield system, hearing aid or other piece of technology, its benefit is closely linked to correct and consistent use. Pristine Hearing is committed to ensuring that your child and their teacher and school in general are aware of the new technology, the importance of the new technology and how to use the new technology. In order to do this, a Pristine Hearing Audiologist will make a complimentary pre-arranged visit to your child's school with your consent to make sure everyone knows how to use the device correctly.

2. Classroom Modifications
Sometimes a device is not needed or can be complimented by specific changes within the classroom to make it easier for your child to listen effectively. To facilitate this, one of our Audiologists can come out to your child's classroom to see if there are practical measures that can be implemented to improve your child's access to the important information spoken by their teacher over the course of a day. Sometimes this can be as simple as moving your child closer to the front of the class, managing the classroom acoustics to reduce noise and reverberation or giving friendly advice to the teacher.
